Receiving “high clarity” mathematics instruction is associated with higher average mathematics achievement for eighth-grade students.
Fourth-grade students who received “high clarity” science instruction had higher average science achievement than students who received “moderate” or “low clarity” instruction.
Eighth-grade students enrolled in integrated science who received “high clarity” science instruction had higher average science achievement than students who received “moderate” or “low clarity” instruction. Separate science subjects showed a similar pattern.
