TIMSS 2023 Context Questionnaires
Information about students’ home and school environments, attitudes towards school and learning, and broader educational contexts are important for interpreting their mathematics and science achievement. TIMSS 2023 collected data about contexts for learning through questionnaires completed by students and their parents, teachers, and school principals (described in the TIMSS 2023 Context Questionnaire Framework). Selected questionnaire data are included in the TIMSS 2023 International Results and all data are available in the TIMSS 2023 International Database. In addition, TIMSS National Research Coordinators provided information on national contexts for learning through the Curriculum Questionnaire and chapters in the TIMSS 2023 Encyclopedia.
